Timothy Njeru : Aggregating local movies is a good idea. I don't know how you compensate content creators but generally people like free things.

Sam Gichuru : I think the first most important thing is to disable the login-before watching, nobody wants to give out their details before they even know what they are signing up for.

DataNav IT Solutions : I love the idea, reminds me of the small movie truck that used to hover around my hood bringing free movies. I agree the interface needs some work, also the idea of signing up is a big turn off since i don't even know what will happen after signing up. But great concept!!!

Licio Lentimo : Good initiative to promote local filmmakers. Intuitive user interface and simple to use. Do you have full movies and how do you deal with licensing with the filmmakers?

Solomon K. : Hey Edwin, Good job on trying to promote and show local films. A couple of notes though; 1. As a new user, I dont want to create an account just yet without a snippet of what I'm signing up to. What I would want is a brief description of the movie or series (this can be done if I hover on the movie itself) or play a 10-15 second trailer of the movie to get me intrigued. 2. I see its still a prototype but a different UI would help a new user to want to continue scrolling. Have a top-rated film at the top to make me want to continue spending time perusing the site for more like it. 3. To promote the site, have a screening of two or three of the movies in partnership with Alliance Francaise or Alchemist for example to grow viewership of the local content. 4. Machakos Film Festival had people create mini series which were top quality in my view. These can be added to it. All in all, good vision. Needs more content and work and I can help where need be with insights and we can exchange ideas to better it further. Some insights are also needed on http://www.samgichuru.com/startups/30 and http://www.samgichuru.com/startups/13.
